Debbie here –
My daughter’s wedding was absolutely beautiful, and I have so many wonderful memories of Puerto Vallerta and the wedding ceremony, which took place at a forested wedding island overlooking the sea at sunset.  I wonder if people that live there ever get tired of 85
° sunny weather every day.  Missy and Mark tried to convince Bill and me that we needed a retirement villa there.  Of course I could not do that as I would miss some Beta Rho meetings.
Now on to the holiday season and all the excitement that brings.  I look forward to the seasonal music provided by the Romeoville High School madrigals.  I hope to see everyone there.  Happy holidays to all.

Maria here –

This coming Wednesday, we’ll all have the chance to welcome in the holidays as we once again listen to the Madrigal singers of Romeoville High School.   This year also marks the last year that the students will be performing for us under the direction of Dave Saunders.  We wish him well as he approaches retirement in the spring.

Also at our December meeting will be our Ambassador from Lambda State.  We’re looking forward to hearing her comments and suggestions on our chapter’s programs and activities.

This past year has seen new beginnings for many of us.  Unfortunately, there have been losses and trials as well.  However, our successes and our setbacks only serve to make the women of Beta Rho more appreciative of what we mean when we sing The Delta Kappa Gamma Song at the close of every meeting.  May “Courage, Faith, and Honor lead us!” now and throughout the year to come.
